Unfortunately, due to the large number of M4 variants on the airsoft guns market, it becomes a chore to sift through the large amount of products on the market to find the right one for you. The Avalon M4 Airsoft AEG series from VFC (Vega Force Company) represents the most advanced quality and performance when it comes to airsoft guns. From their robust metal constructed receivers, rail systems, and ambidextrous user functions combined with the sleek and modular QRS adjustable stock, pistol grip, and mid-cap magazine, the Avalon is the last Automatic Electric Gun you will need.
The VFC Avalon Saber Carbine MLOK comes with a full metal body and high-quality Avalon engravings. An extendable QRS stock allows you to adjust the length of the rifle that fits your body! The metal flash hider can be screwed off for installation of a 14mm clockwise threaded silencer, just like the Marui M4A1. Besides the QRS Stock, the Avalon Series also has other Quick Response System (QRS) accessories allowing you to adjust the rifle to fit your shooting style. It comes with Crusader Tech tactical accessories, which are friendly for both left and right hand users with rapid application. It has an M-LOK rail system with a monolithic top rail and ample room for all sorts of sights and accessories. In the real steel world, this makes things much easier when it comes to stabilizing yourself after each and every shot, but in the airsoft world, it’s for aesthetics. It also depends on how you like to hold your AEG.
Internally, the Avalon Saber Carbine MLOK includes the new ECS gearbox, which is quite honestly one of the best gearboxes we’ve seen on the market. This is accompanied by a strong magnetic motor, match-grade hop rubber, precision inner barrel, CNC machined air nozzle, and a MOSFET electronic control unit for faster trigger response and battery management. In addition, the mock bolt-catch hides a rotary-style hop-up which also feels realistic in its design. In reality, the VFC Avalon Saber Carbine is one of, if not THE best AEG we’ve seen ‘out of the box’, maybe only rivaled by Tokyo Marui’s brilliant ‘Recoil’ range. However, they do not come as standard with a MOSFET, so it’s very much neck and neck between the two.
In closing, the VFC Avalon Saber Generation 2 model is an accurate, lightweight, snappy gun that shoots incredibly well out of the box. It’s insanely accurate and incredibly powerful. If you’re upgrading from something like a G&G, KWA, a CYMA, or an Amoeba, you’re going to immediately see your game and accuracy rise to a new level. And that’s the main reason we spend money on airsoft guns, right? The internals look like they have been upgraded before you even received the gun, but those are just quality VFC Avalon internals for you, and externally the gun is a sight to behold. All in all, VFC has outdone themselves here!
