The gearbox is a key AEG internal part of Airsoft Guns, and the construction of this part is responsible for a great deal of an electric gun’s performance. The anti-reversal latch is an especially important part of the standard AEG gearbox. Simply put, this part engages the bevel gear ratchet teeth to prevent reversing when the motor is off. This prevents motor or battery and keeps your airsoft gun in top working order. There’s another advantage, too: the Anti-reversal Latch is not only able to stop the internals from reversing in the moment-to-moment but also allows you to release your AEGs spring safely and quickly.
