So last night, I managed to get some time away from the office and go to the cinema to see John Wick: Chapter 4. We all agreed that it was the best one yet. And true to form, the action and the very high-end weapons used did not disappoint! John Wick: Chapter 4 is the 2023 installment in the John Wick film series that began with the 2014 film. Chad Stahelski once again takes the helm as director, and Keanu Reeves returns as Wick, who finds himself taking on the criminal syndicate known as “the High Table” The cast includes returning actors Ian McShane, Laurence Fishburne, and Lance Reddick in addition to Donnie Yen, Scott Adkins, and Marko Zaror. Many of the guns used in this outstanding action file are available now in the format of 6mm Airsoft Guns.
So let’s dive in and list the armory that we loved from the film John Wick: Chapter 4.
TTI PIT VIPER PISTOL
John Wick (Keanu Reeves) receives a Taran Tactical Innovations Pit Viper from the Bowery King, who describes it as a “9mm Pit Viper, a 21-round capacity magazine with a built-in compensator for virtually no muzzle flip. Fibre optic front sight, ambidextrous safeties, flared mag well for faster reloads, 2-pound extreme trigger.” This is a very similar pistol to our Baba Yaga Airsoft Pistols from SRC, and we understand that they are already in production of the Pit Viper airsoft replica.
GLOCK 17 PISTOL
Glock 17 pistols are used by various assassins and are sometimes picked up by Wick. Several of these pistols are also used with threaded-on suppressors. Chidi (Marko Zaror) also uses a custom one with a compensator and Trijicon RMR sight. Nobody (Shamier Anderson) keeps one in his concealed backpack/vest and uses it in Paris. The Glock 17 is probably one of the most used pistols in airsoft today, and we have them in our Airsoft Glock Pistols section on our website.
GLOCK 17L PISTOL
Wick picks up a Glock 17L at the Osaka Continental. This Glock pistol is a rare one and very hard to find in the Airsoft world.
THOMPSON CENTER ARMS ENCORE
What appears to be Thompson Center Arms Encore pistols are used by Wick (Keanu Reeves) and Caine (Donnie Yen) in a duel. The rounds they are used with appear to be custom nickel-plated or silver-cast .45-70 Government cartridges. This is another very rare gun, and you will not find it in a 6mm Airsoft format at this time.
SMITH & WESSON MODEL 500 REVOLVER
Killa (Scott Adkins) carries a Smith & Wesson Model 500 in Berlin. A very popular airsoft revolver that is available in a branded genuine replica for UX or on offer from any near-perfect unbranded replicas on the market. SMITH & WESSON M&P PISTOL
A Smith & Wesson M&P with a fiber optic front sight is used by the Marquis (Bill Skarsgard). A popular airsoft pistol that is available in a branded genuine replica or on offer from any near-perfect unbranded replicas on the market.
SIG-SAUER P365 SAS PISTOL
Caine (Donnie Yen) uses a custom SIG-Sauer P365 SAS (evidenced by the lack of sights) with a barrel weight/compensator that resembles the Strike Industries Mass Driver as his sidearm. Airsoft 6mm version is available in many different formats from a number of manufacturers.
MODERNIZED THOMPSON M1A1 RIFLE
Modernized Thompson M1A1 submachine guns with picatinny rails and M4 stock adaptors are used by assassins in Paris when hunting for John Wick (Keanu Reeves). Sorry but not available in a 6mm airsoft format at this time.
TTI DRACARYS GEN-12 RIFLE/SHOTGUN
In Paris, Wick uses a Taran Tactical Innovations Dracarys Gen-12, which is a Genesis Arms Gen-12 with various modifications, including BCM furniture and a KeyMod handguard. It is used by some French assassins, loaded with Dragon’s Breath rounds before John commandeers one for himself.
In my opinion, this part of the film, with the gunfight that is filmed from above, with Wick moving from room to room with this gun and the Dragon’s Breath ammo, is the best bit of the film, and I am going again next week just to see this again, BREATHTAKING ACTION – AMAZING!
