The standard AEGs gearbox is, in essence, responsible for transferring electrical energy into mechanical energy that actually fires the Airsoft Guns. The gears consist of many moving parts that all come together to make even the most basic pistol function at a basic level. As a result, that also means the quality of a gearbox is heavily influential on the effectiveness of an airsoft gun as a whole.
