Keeping your finger well away from the trigger grip the pistol body with one hand and the barrel end with the other, engage the spring piston with a firm and consistent downstroke which primes the pistol, then load a pellet and close the action. Now aim at your airgun target with a firm grip that disengages the grip safety located on the backstrap. Put the manual side safety on fire and you are ready to shoot targets for hours. All airsoft guns must have at least a 6 millimeter bright orange muzzle or an orange flash hider. U.S. federal law requires that all airsoft guns are sold with this marking to avoid the guns being mistaken for firearms. If you remove the orange muzzle or flash hider from your airsoft gun, you will void the warranty for that item.
Airguns (guns that shoot pellets or steel BBs) do not have an orange muzzle, nor are they required to have one by the U.S. federal government.
