1911 SPARTAN AIR PISTOL
This is the Air Venturi’s officially licensed .177-cal Springfield Armory 1911 Mil-Spec .45 ACP pistol reproduction. This full-metal, CO2-powered, semi-automatic BB gun can send 18 shots downrange as fast as you can pull the trigger at velocities of up to 320 FPS. It’s powered by one 12-gram CO2 cartridge – housed in the drop-free, metal magazine – and gets about 65 shots per fill. It produces a realistic kick when discharged. And, once the last shot in the mag leaves the barrel, the slide locks back, just like a real-steel 1911. The .177-cal version weighs in at 2 lbs., giving it a heft almost identical to that of its firearm predecessor. The controls – from its single-action trigger and functioning grip safety, to its slide lock, thumb safety and magazine release – all feel and function like the powder-burner upon which it is based. All airsoft guns must have at least a 6 millimeter bright orange muzzle or an orange flash hider. U.S. federal law requires that all airsoft guns are sold with this marking to avoid the guns being mistaken for firearms. If you remove the orange muzzle or flash hider from your airsoft gun, you will void the warranty for that item.
Airguns (guns that shoot pellets or steel BBs) do not have an orange muzzle, nor are they required to have one by the U.S. federal government.
