Description
Gearbox Shim Set for Cylinder Conversion Kits
This is an excellent set of precision shims optimised to secure an HPA cylinder within the gearbox shell to prevent any unwanted movement. As the pins in a gearbox shell can vary in size, we have to make the matching holes in our cylinder conversion kits large enough to accommodate even the largest diameter pins. This can sometimes allow the cylinder to shift backwards or forwards in gearboxes with smaller diameter pins if the shell does not clamp onto the cylinder firmly enough to secure it. If the cylinder is able to move during operation, it can change how far the nozzle extends from the front of the gearbox. This can have consequences, such as inconsistent BB seating and diminishing performance.
The shims are available in different sizes to match the most common gearbox pin sizes and are compatible with all PolarStar cylinder conversion kits (F2, F1, JACK, Kythera).

All airsoft guns must have at least a 6 millimeter bright orange muzzle or an orange flash hider. U.S. federal law requires that all airsoft guns are sold with this marking to avoid the guns being mistaken for firearms. If you remove the orange muzzle or flash hider from your airsoft gun, you will void the warranty for that item.
Airguns (guns that shoot pellets or steel BBs) do not have an orange muzzle, nor are they required to have one by the U.S. federal government.
